Grande
Nestern railroad tract and Fish Creek for coal hauling to
the existing tipole in the NE1/4tvE1/4 sec. 2, T, 5 N.,
R, 86 lJ. Such construction would comply with all laws and
regulations.
It is anticipated that the mine operation would begin in
1980 and terminate in 1983. A preliminary sequence as
presented by Energy Fuels is attached as Figure 3.
The following tabulation is a summary of past and projected
coal production frog Energy Dine No, i, 2, 3 for the years
1972 through 1986. The total production projected from :478
through 198b reflects the actual production from all thr°~
• mines in the absence of additiohal federal coal leasing. In
the event that Energy Fuels obtains the three coal lease
applications, they would maintain their 1977 production rate
of approximately 4 million tons per year through 1986, with
no anticiapted drastic increases. As indicated in the last
column of the summary, should the coal lease applications
not be obtained, Ener;y Fuels predicts deficiency on
commitments of 19,035,000 tons from 1978 through 1986.
II.
