Dear Party and/orlnterested Person:
The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) has received written objections to the Line
Camp Pit application.
Pursuant to Rule 1 .7.4, of the Construction Material Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Board (Rule), DMG has scheduled the application for Format Public Hearing
before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board) for consideration of the application.
The hearing has been scheduled for the April 25-26, 2001, Board meeting, at 1313 Sherman
Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado.
Pursuant to Rule 2.7.1, DMG has tentatively scheduled aPre-hearing Conference for April 17,
2001. The purpose of the Pre-hearing Conference is to identify the parties for the hearing and to
identify the issues to be considered by the Board at the hearing. The Pre-hearing Conference is
scheduled to occur at the Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Avenue, Dolores, Colorado,
commencing at 2:00 p.m. If re-scheduling of the Pre-hearing Conference should prove necessary,
DMG will inform the parties of the re-scheduled conference.
Pursuant to Rule 1.7.4 and 1.4.6, DMG has scheduled an Informal Conference for March 15,
2001. Rule 1.4.6(2) states, At the Informal Conference, each person objecting to the approval of
the application shall set forth the grounds for the objection. Similarly, the Applicant, and any
other person supporting the issuance of the application, shall present the grounds necessary to
support the issuance of the app/ication. The Informal Conference is scheduled to occur at the
Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Avenue, Dolores, Colorado, commencing at 12:00 noon.
