Duting this quarter, five NPDES outfalls were active. Outfalls 002 and 020 dischazged routinely <br />throughout the quarter. Outfall 001 commenced dischazging in February and continued for the remainder of the <br />quarter. Outfalls 021 and 023 dischazged for only a few days during the quarter. Outfalls 005, 008, 009, 011, 012, <br />013, 014, 015, 016, 017, 018 and 019 did not dischazge during the quarter. Outfalls 022 and 024 are associated with <br />sediment ponds that have not yet been constmcied. No discharges aze reported for these outfalls. Values reported <br />on [he enclosed DMRs represent the maximum (or minimum as applicable) monthly/daily values generated at each <br />outfall during the quarter. <br />Also enclosed are monthly NOAA weather summaries for the reporting period and WET test report forms as <br />applicable. Four outfalls were sampled for WET analyses during the quarter. Two species acute tests were <br />completed at outfalls 001, 020, and 023 during the first quarter and a single species acute test (P. promelas) was <br />completed at outfal] 002 in January. No exceedences of WET test limitations were observed at any tested outfalls. <br />The results for outfa11002 WET will be reported with the next quarter's DMR submittal as the applicable reporting <br />period for this outfall continues through June. No mine water was discharged through at outfall 021, therefore no <br />WET test was conducted on this outfall. <br />No exceedences of primary effluent limitations occurred at any outfall during the quarter.
