Mountain Coal Company Exhibit 69 <br />West Elk Mine Mine Dewatering & Treatment Facilities <br />• <br />storm event, below the emergency spillway level. The calculations are provided in <br />Exhibit 66. The emergency spillway and subsequent open channel is sized to pass <br />the 25-yeaz, 24-hour precipitation event in accordance with Rule 4.05.6. Supporting <br />documentation and calculations are included in Exhibit 66. <br />The Stormwater Runoff Pond plan and section is included in Exhibit 66. In addition, <br />the designs for the discharge pipe emergency spillway, and emergency discharge <br />channel are provided in Exhibit 66. The Stormwater Runoff Pond will require <br />approximately two cubic yards of concrete. A six-foot high chain link fence topped <br />with three-strand bazbed wire will be provided to restrict unauthorized entry and <br />wildlife access. The estimated length offence is 270 feet. <br />Reclamation <br />Map 58B and 59B illustrate the reclamation plan for the SGFA, including the dewatering <br />and treatment facilities. The azea will be returned to approximate original contour. After <br />regrading, topsoil will be spread, seeded, and mulched in accordance with MCC's <br />approved reclamation plan. <br />• <br />,. <br />5 <br />Nov. 1997 WR232 <br />
