i ~~ <br /> <br />EXHIBIT -D- MINING PLAN <br />The mining plan involves the removal of sand, gravel <br />and rock from the pit area by enlarging the existing pit. <br />(See exhibit C) The material will be removed with con- <br />ventional equipment, .dozers, loaders, trucks etc. Fob-, <br />most operations raw material will be pushed into ~ crusher <br />with a dozer or loaded with a loader. If the raw pit <br />material is to be used as a fill material, it will be <br />loaded into trucks with a loader and hauled off site. <br />The mining plan does not allow steep banks or high faces. <br />The first part of the plan is to enlarge the existing <br />pit in a westerly direction at a depth of 20 feet (exist- <br />. ing depth) over the next 20 to 30 years towards the <br />westerly boundary at the affected area. <br />The next 30 to 50 years will for see the enlargement <br />of the pit in a northerly and westerly direction from <br />the first excavation (see map-exhibit C.) <br />• <br /> <br /> <br />
