WEST PIT - EXHIBIT B III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
sss
GENERAL MINING PLAN - BURNS, PERRY, JACXLICN, DOLE, LEISCNUCK, RAGAINS,
WEST, AND XOCBIS PITS
Top Soil will be pushed off and stored adjacent to the pit areas for
future use. The sam and gravel will then be pushed into a stock pile
which is usually on the floor of the pit, by a dizer maintaining a
slope of approximately 3:1 to 4:I on the working area. The satxl/gravel
will then be loaded into trucks and hauled onto roads within the area.
All pits are operated on an intermittent basis with amounts of material
to be hauled being directly proportionate to the size of project. For
example several loads for sawing icy roads to major road improvement
requiting several thousand yards. There will be interim time varying
approximately from 1 to 5 years when the pit may not be used, at which
time the pit will be left in a state to where sand/gravel will be Left
exposed. Any minor erosion or other problem will be addressed. Area
where gravel has been depleted in the pit will be reclaimed as per the
SCS recommendation on a continuing basis until the gravel/sand deposits
are depleted or there is no longer need to operate the pit at which
time final reclamation will be completed.
