Figure B-30 presents the conductivity versus time data for well GP9. A fair amount of •
scatter is seen for this well, but overall the values have been steady the last few years.
Wells P1 and P3 are alluvial and Lewis Shale completion wells, respectively. The Lewis
Shale is thought to contribute some water to the alluvium in this area and, therefore, may influence
conductivity values in water from well Pl. Figure B-31 shows significant variations in conductivity
values for well P1, as would be expected for an alluvial system. Precipitation has also influenced
rechazge to the Lewis Shale. Conductivity values for 1994 for both of these wells showed additional
scatter and overall had values similar to those seen in recent years..
Wells PS and P8 have shown variations in values as expected from shallow aquifers.
Figures B-33 and B-34 each show that conductivity has remained fairly steady since 1986.
Conductivity in the COY alluvial well (Figure B-35) gradually increased from 1985 to
1990. Conductivity values hit a high of 2650 ~mthos/cm in 1990 and have been fairly steady •
through 1994. The conductivity of water in well JI (Figure B-36) was steady to 1985, followed by
arising and declining trend. Afrer a steady period in 1990, conductivity values rose in 1991 and
became fairly steady through 1994.
Water collected from the 3rd White Sandstone rvel] 81-03a }Melded the conductivities
plotted on Figure B-37. Conductivities in well 81-03a steadily increased from 1987 to 1989. A
declining trend has been observed since 1989. Values of conductivity collected to date for well
GLiJX-1 are presented on Figure B-38 and considering the 3rd quarter 1993 and 1994 laboratory
values rather than field values, have been fairly stable. Conductivity data for well GMP-1 have been
collected for the past three years and are presented in Figure B-39. The first value in late 1990 was
high, but the values observed for 1991 through 1994 are considerably lower and have remained
fairly stable.
•
3-6
