EXHIBIT G
SUPPLEMENTAL WATER INFORMATION
• GROUNDWATER:
There are no known wells in the immediate area that would indicate the
groundwater depth. Very little is known of the groundwater situation in that
vicinity of the mine. The steep slopes, which result in rapid runof~F conditions
and the permeable nature of the limestone bedrock indicate that the ~lroundwater
surface is located well below the surface of the mine. It is likely that the
groundwater is located at or near the elevation of Williams Creek, 400 to 500 feet
below the surface of the mine. Mining extraction is not expected to exceed a
200 foot depth, therefore the disturbance of any groundwater is highly unlikely.
STORAGE
Construction of the berm at the South end of the site will crea~:e a storm
runoff detention facility. This was previously referred to erroneously as a
retention facility. The detention results in evaporation or percola~:ion in a
relatively short period of time. The runoff will not be stored--as detention
would indicate. None of the runoff will be used elsewhere or at a liter date.
Storage rights will, therefore, not be required for this detention o~~eration.
•
DRAINAGE
The interruption of this intermittent drainage will not create ,~ loss, only
detain or delay. The reduction of the flood hazard downstream is diminished
slightly by this detention, but the affect is negligible.
This information is included as a supplement to the previous re~~ort and
becomes a part thereof.

5-G-3*
