f~ A statement of certinent professional observations and conclusions made during the comHlelion of the <br />certification. <br />There were no indications of structural weakness, erosion, or hazardous conditions. <br />A statement of mmHlience with the prudent state-of-the-art. <br />The pond is in compliance with the prudent state-of-the-art. <br />A statement of mmHliance with the aoaroved mine glen end Hermit, saecifically referencing aoarooriate <br />portions of the Hrrmit documents (plans, maps and text). <br />The dam is located and configured in compliance with the approved mine plan and permit (Figure 3, <br />Reclamation Project As-Built Topography, dated: 11/10/87). Vegetation on downstream slopes is sparse [Rule <br />4.05.6(11)(8)]. Cleaning of the pond is not required. The pond requires cleaning when 60% of the maximum <br />sediment level is reached (Permit, Section 2.05, Page 37). The maximum sediment level is at 8216.46 <br />(SEDCAD+ Elevation-Area-Capacity-Discharge Table, 1994 Pond 002 As-Built Hydraulics, 22-29-1994). The <br />60% sediment storage volume of 0.126 acre feet [60% of 2.1 acre feet (Permit, Page Q-2, Revised 11/30/'94)] <br />level is estimated as elevation 8216.2.
