COG-600561 <br />FOURTH QUARTER 2005 POTABLE WATER DISCHARGE MONITORING REPORTS <br />(DMR) <br />Dear Ms. Watson, <br />Colowyo is submitting the fourth quarter potable water discharge monitoring reports to the Water <br />Quality Control Division for calendaz yeaz 2005. Please fmd the DMR reports attached for your review. <br />There were no dischazges during the fourth quarter at outfalls OOIA and 002A. Field and laboratory <br />sampling/analyses will be conducted if dischazges need to be initiated in the future. <br />Recently, Kelly D. Sanders has taken another position within Kennecott Energy and will no longer be <br />responsible for signoff of the quarterly DMR Reports. Keith Haley is the Mine Manager at Colowyo and <br />has taken over primary DMR signoff duties with Tay Tonozzi (Colowyo Senior Environmental <br />Engineer) authorized to sign the forms in the absence of Mr. Haley. I humbly request that new DMR <br />forms be generated and forwarded to Colowyo that identify the change to the Principal Executive Officer <br />identified hereafter as Keith Haley - Colowyo Mine Manager. Please retain Kurtis Blunt as your <br />primary contact for issues relating to this permit. <br />Thank you for your consideration.
