• <br />Section 816. 11 (c) Continued. <br />Appropriate signs identifying the Kerr Mine Area and Tipple Area <br />will be displayed at all points of access to either the Kerr .Mine <br />Area or the Kerr Tipple Area. These signs will indicate the name, <br />business address, and telephone number of Kerr Coal, and the iden- <br />tification numbers of all mining and reclamation permits. <br />(d) Perimeter markers. The perimeter of a permit area shall be clearly <br />marked before the beginning of surface mining activities. <br />Before the beginning of surface mining activities, the perimeter of <br />the permit area will be clearly marked with orange lath, orange <br />fence posts, or other visible markings. <br />U <br />(e) Buffer zone markers. Buffer zones shall be marked along their <br />boundaries as required under Section 816.57. <br />Kerr Coal will place buffer zone markers along the buffer zone <br />boundaries as required under Section 816.57. Buffer zones are <br />identified on Map 1, Ketr Mine Area Mine Plan. <br />(f) Blasting signs. If blasting is conducted incident to surface <br />mining activities, the person who conducts these activities shall: <br />(1) Conspicuously display signs reading 'Blasting Area' along the edge <br />of any blasting area that comes within 50 feet of any road within the <br />permit area, or within 100 feet of any public road right of way. <br />816-3 <br />
