We have reviewed and checked the calculations and design
recommendations for the referenced diversions and sediment
nd at the Nestern Slope Carbon mine at Somerset, Colorado.
comments and calculations are incluciPrl on the sheets you
ovided. As you will note by reviewing the attached sheets,
the only change vve recommend is that the sediment pond be
sized to contain 0.25 ACRE-FT.rather than 0.21 ACRE-FT.(based
on the assumed total pond volume of 0.5 ACRE-FT) with a
minimum discharge pump capacity of 600 GPS1.
