• <br />RO-B Witt loam, 1 to 37, slopes <br />This is a deep, well drained soil on rolling uplands. The <br />soil developed in wind deposited loamy material. <br />The surface is a reddish brown very fine sandy loam or loam <br />about 7 inches thick. <br />The subsoil Ls reddish brown clay loam with prismatic and aub- <br />angular blocky structure. This goes to a depth of about 30 inches. <br />Below the subsoil is a light reddish brown clay loam or loam <br />with lime occurring as spots, streaks and disiminated form. <br />Surface runoff ie moderate. Erosion hazard is moderate. <br />Permeability is moderately slow. Water holding capacity !a high. <br />Included with this unit in mapping are about Sx W0, S~ C4, <br />SZ R4 and R7. Also included are small areas of steeper elope. Also <br />\ included are small areas where sandstone or shale is between 40 and <br />60 inches. <br />This soil is used for dry cropland, irrigated cropland and range. <br />Native begetation ie sagebrush, blue grams and eastern wheatgrasa. <br />
