The evaluation was performed following the outline of the <br />. Streeter Gulch Pond evaluation submitted to you in March 2002. The objective of this exercise <br />was to evaluate compliance of the Section 16 Pond with Secl:ion 4.05.9 of the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology regulations. <br />This submittal includes the following attachments. <br />l . Reclamation Blocks Section 16 Pond, 009A. This drawing depicts the post-mining <br />topography on which the pond evaluation was based, the Section 16 watershed outline <br />and the reclamation blocks by year from which the worst-case drainage scenario was <br />developed. State Highway 13 and Good Spring Creek are also indicated. <br />2. Sedimentation Pond Redesign Section 16 Pond, 009A. This drawing depicts the <br />post-mining topography and the SEDCAD 4 watershed dissection. <br />3. Pond Footprints Section 16 Pond, 009A. This drawing shoes the locations of post- <br />mining ponds. The post-mining ponds inchlde Pond H and Pond I \vhich have a <br />combined capacity of only 0.32 ac-ft. They are incised ponds that intercept an <br />insignificant amount of drainage area in terms of the design flood calculations (11.3 <br />acres out of a total drainage area of 265 S acres). <br />4. Section 16 Yond, 009A .4s-Built.
