The evaluation was performed following the outline of the <br />Streeter Gulch Pond evaluation submitted to you in March 2002. The objective of this exercise <br />was to evaluate colnpliance of the Gulch A Pond with Section 4.05.9 of the Division of Minerals <br />and Geology regulations. <br />This submittal includes the following attachments. <br />1. Reclamation Blocks Gulch A Pond, 004A. This drawing depicts the post-mining <br />topography on which the pond evaluation was based, the Gulch A watershed outline <br />and the reclamation blocks by year from which the worst-case drainage scenario was <br />developed. State Highway 13 and Good Spring Creek are also indicated. <br />2. Sedimentation Pond Redesign Gulch A Pond, 004A. This drawing depicts the <br />post-mining topography and the SEDCAD 4 watershed dissection. <br />3. Pond Footprints Gulch A Pond, 004A. This drawing shows the locations of post- <br />minim? ponds. The post-mining ponds include Pond L and Pond M which have a <br />combined capacity of onh O.li ac-ft. Thee are incised ponds that intercept an <br />insignificant amount of drainage area in terms of the design flood calculations (24.4 <br />acres out of a total drainage area of 718. ] acres). <br />• 4. Gulch .A Pond, 004A As-Built.
