2.04.8(1)(a) <br />' Precipitation patterns are not obvious for the area. <br />Precipitation has been lowest between Play and r:ovember, <br />especially between June and October; yet considerable <br />precipitation has fallen during each of these months in one <br />year or another. All months but vovember have received more <br />than two inches at least in some years. Precipitation during <br />' April and June is most variable; the range between their <br />maximum and minimum values (U.S. Department of Commerce, <br />' N..O.A.A. Environmental Data Service.) <br />(b) Average direction and velocity of prevailing winds. There <br />' are no meteorological monitoring stations and therefore, no <br />data accumulation for the area of the Hear Mine. Information <br />' presented below was obtained by Atlantic Richfield Company <br />at three (3) sites established within one-quarter mile of the <br />Hear P1ine. Data is for the period March 1, 1977 through P.ugust <br />31, 1977, and is presented in Table 2.04.8(1)(b). <br />(c) Mean Monthly Temperature. <br />Table 2.04.8(1)(c) below shows the temperature data collected <br />' as part of the ARCO program referred to in (1)(b) above. <br />' As data is accumulated and becomes available, the data will be <br />presented to the P1LR Board for attachment to the file containing <br />' this application. <br />Section 2.09.9 Soils Resource Information <br />1 (1) This is an underground mine.
