<br /> <br />2.04.7 (1) (a) (ii.~) <br />1 <br />(iii) Known uses of water in aquifiers. <br />' No use is made of ground water per se. That is, no wells <br />tapping the water table are in use by the Mine. Springs are <br />' used to furnish the Pdine with all of its water requirements. <br />The springs are discussed in Section 2.04.7(2). <br />' (iv) Quality of subsurface water. <br />Refer to Tables 2.04.7(1)(a)(iv)-1 and 2 for analysis of <br />the ground water. <br />' (2) Surface [•later information. <br />' (a) General information. <br />The name of the water shed is the North For}: of the Gunnison <br />' River. Refer to Drawing 2.04.7(2)(a)-1 for the location of <br />the River, the ephemeral streams in Sylvester Gulch and the <br />' draw draining the west one-half of Section 16, tl~e location <br />of the springs, the location of stock ponds, and the surface <br />drainage system for the affected area and adjacent areas. <br />Refer to Table 2.04.7(2)(a)-1 for a list of the decreed <br />springs as shown on Drawing 2.04.7(2)(a)-1. <br />' (b) Specific surface water information. <br />' (i) Flow records. <br />The mine area is drained by Sylvester Gulch and one other <br />small ephemeral stream directly into the !'orth Fork of the <br />Gunnison River which is part of the Colorado River drainage <br />basin, see Drawing 2.04.7(2)(a)-1. <br />1 <br /> <br />' 47 <br />
