Covey Mining Permit Application
Phil Sheridan Lode, MLRD Permit No. M-88-081
Boulder County, Colorado
The Mined Land Reclamation Board, at its August 24, 1988 meeting, convened to
consider the aforementioned application. The Board reviewed the twelve
objections filed prior to the August 17, 1988 deadline, including the five
obje<tions that had requested a formal public hearing.
The Eloard found, after consideration of the information provided by the
objectors and the Division, that good cause for holding a formal public
hearing did not exist because the outstanding unresolved objections such as
noise, truck traffic and aesthetics did not fall under the jurisdiction of the
Board or the objections did not state a specific concern other than general
environmental quality.
EB/l;it
9781 F'
215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
