The Division's only concern was
that the flow monitoring device used at NPDES site 1102 (No Name Drainage) was possibly inaccurate. Fur-
ther, the Division requested flow measuring devices at all NPDES sites (minewide) be checked and cali-
brated as necessary by June 7, 1991.
Following is a brie( overview describing the accuracy of flow measuring devices at Trapper Mine. Each
flume was surveyed for accuracy on or before May 24, 1991. To verify this work, Trapper proposes to review
survey notes and field inspect all repaired flumes with our CMLRD field inspector during our next monthly
inspection (June). The CMLRD inspector responsible for Trapper Mine is Larry Routten. I will forward a
copy of his inspection report to your office following his field evaluation.
NPDES
Site Drainaee Flume accuracy
001 Johnson Gulch This flume will be removed and reestablished at a
new location (nearer the principal spillway) as part of our
proposed spillway construction modification during
the summer of 1991.
002 No Name Gulch This flume was repaired on 523/91.
