GENFBAL @EQUrae~farrg <br />1. ~reseatative Samyling <br />Saaples and measurements taken as required herein shall bn <br />rnpresaataCiva of the volume and nature of the monitored dlscharge. <br />All sasples shall be taken at the monitoring points specified in this <br />permit and, unless otherwise specified, before the effluent joins or <br />is diluted by nay other vasteatresm, body of eater, or substance. <br />Monitoring points shall not be changed without notification to and <br />approval by the Division. <br />2. Analytical sad Sampling Methods for Monitoring <br />Analytical sad aampliag methods utilized by the discharger shall <br />conform to Colorado Regulations for Effluent Limitations (10.L.5), <br />sad to regulatiana published pursuant to Section 304 (h) of the Clean <br />Water Act. <br />The analytical method selected for a parameter shall be the one that <br />can measure the loveat detected limit for that parameter unless the <br />permit limitation or stream standard for those parameters not <br />limited, is within the testing range of another approved method. <br />3. Records <br />The peraittne shall establish and maintain records. Those records <br />shall include the following: <br />a) The date, type, ezact.location, and time of sampling or <br />measurements; <br />b) The individual(s) who performed the sampling or measurements; <br />c) The date(s) the aaalyaes were performed; <br />d) Thn individual(s) who performed the analyses; <br />e) The analytical techniques ar methods wed; <br />f) The results of such analyses; and <br />g) Any other obaervationa which may result Sa an impact on the <br />qualitp or quantity of theā¢dischazge as indicated in 40 CFR <br />122.44 (1)(1)(113). <br />The permittee sliall retain for a minimum of three (3) years records <br />of all monitoring information, including all original strip chart <br />recordings for continuous monitoring instrumentation, all calibration <br />and maintenance records, copies of all reports required by this <br />permit sad records of all data wed to complete the application for <br />this permit. This pericd of retention shall be ezteaded during the <br />course of nay unresolved litigation regarding the discharge of <br />pollutants by the permittee or when requested by the Division or <br />Regional Administrator of EPA. <br />Code: 1 - 22 Date: ,1-84, revised 12-SS <br />
