PUBLIC NOTICE <br />• HG Coal Company (HGCC), One Town Center Boca Raton, Florida 33486, has filed with <br />the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (CDMG) a permit Technical Revision (IR) <br />application far it's Hayden Gulch Mine, Permit No. G80-003. The TR application is being <br />submitted under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The <br />purpose of the TR application is to describe the revised permit boundary and monitoring program <br />HGCC received Phase II/III bond release from CDMG in June 1999 on approximately 1,261.2 <br />acres. The revised permit will cover the remainurg 8.9 acres of the original 1,269 acres. These 8.9 <br />acres aze located in four small pazcels. The TR application also describes the cessation of water <br />monitoring activities that has been approved by CDMG and presents the monitoring requirements <br />for the rerr,a~~+~g peraut area. This TR application will not result in any changes to either the <br />disturbed or affected azeas. <br />The Hayden Gulch Mine is located approximately 11 miles south of Hayden, Colorado along <br />Routt County Road 53. The USGS 7.5-minute quadrangle map entitled Hayden Gulch, Colorado <br />contains the pemuc azea. The general legal description of the revised permit azea is: <br />TSN,R88W (all west of the 6~ Principle Meridian) <br />Section 30, Portions of NE1/4 <br />Section 30, Portions of Sl/2 <br />Section 31, Portions of NEl/4 <br />Section 31, Portions of Wl/2 <br />Containing approximately 8.92 acres, all in Routt County <br />A copy of the TR application is available for public inspection at the Routt County <br />• Courthouse, located at 533 Lincoln Ave., Steamboat Springs, Colooado.
