WELL 4-3H PLUG & ABANDONMENT <br />AKA 4A-3H <br />1 Sept 2004 <br />Pumped 160-bbl hot water down tubing. Pumped 160-bbl hot water down casing. Cut off <br />9-5/8 casing below well head. Welded slip supports to casing. <br />2 Sept 2004 <br />Rigged up work over rig on well. Run in well with 6-1/8 inch bit and scraper. Tag @ <br />2104 feet. Pull out of well with bit and scraper. Run in well with 7-inch cutter. Cut @ <br />2090, 2087, and.2085 feet. Made three cuts just to make sure. Pull out of well with cutter. <br />Pick up 7-inch spear and 1 joint of 2-7/8 tubing. Set speaz in 7-inch tubing. Raise <br />wellhead 3-4 feet several times. Set back down. Weight is 42 K pounds. Seems light, but <br />moves freely. Release speaz and lay down. Shut well down and await casing crew in <br />morning. <br />3 Sept 2004 <br />Rigged up T&N casing crew. Pulled 7-inch injection tubing. Could not break out of <br />collars using 12,500 pounds of torque. Had to cut casing every joint. Laid down 35 joints. <br />Casing was parted @ 1454 feet. Last two joints pulled were severely corroded and had <br />many holes in them. Will get with EPA and BLM to amend well P&A program. Shut <br />well down for Labor Day weekend. <br />7 Sept 2004 <br />Rig on standby awaiting EPA approval of revised well work plan. After verbal approval <br />from BLM and EPA, ran in well with 7-inch string mill to dress top offish and clean out <br />to 2100 feet. Pull out of well with mill. <br />Flush well with 80-bbl water. Run in well with 7-inch cement retainer to 2100 feet. Set <br />retainer in 7 inch left in well @ 2100 feet, below cuts in 7-inch string. Pull out of well <br />with running tools and tubing. Shut well in for night. Await cement trucks. <br />8 Sept 2004 <br />Rig on standby. Await cement trucks and cement crew. <br />9 Sept 2004 <br />Run in well with 2-7/8 tubing to 2086 feet. Rig up Big 4 cement trucks. Pumped 1st stage <br />of cement. 75 sacks of 15.8 # with LCM and 3 % Calcium Chloride. Pulled 10 stands of <br />tubing. Flushed tubing left in well with 1 bbl of water. Laid down 9 joints of tubing. Wait <br />on cement two hours. Run back in well with tubin~ from demck and tag good cement @ <br />1862 feet. Laid down 1 joint of tubing. Pumped 2° Stage of cement. 75 sacks 15.8 <br />cement with 3% Calcium Chloride. Good returns to surface after 4 bbl of water in pre- <br />cement flush. Pulled 10 stands of tubing. Laid down 12 joints of tubing. Wait on cement <br />1-1/2 hour. Ran 10 stands of tubing back in well. Cement top @ 1662 feet. Pump third <br />stage of light cement. 430 sacks of 12.6# cement. Good cement returns to surface. Pulled <br />remaining tubing from well, laying down on trailer. Rig down work over rig. <br />
