Del-.~. a' f~;: ,,;, ~. ., c 0:'U <br />.l._ 8i RuSC_rC'C <br />Enclosed please find the Mining Plan Map on Permit No. 83-1, Cecil, and <br />the Proof of Publication covering all of the applications. <br />As we discussed on the telephone, I would respectfully request that the <br />hearing regarding the State Pit, 83-2, be continued as the State Land <br />Board has requested that we obtain an archaeological survey of the <br />premises. They have indicated that they will not approve our lease <br />until an archaeological survey is undertaken. Obviously, this was not <br />foreseen at the time we made the application as it has never been <br />required of the County and, further, there is a practical problem of <br />finding a person qualified to undertake such a survey upon short notice. <br />Therefore, the County would appreciate it if you would continue this <br />application for a period of one month in order to allow us to complete <br />the required survey. <br />If anything further is required, please do not hesitate to contact me. <br />And, again, I greatly appreciate your assistance and cooperation in this <br />matter. <br />Yours very truly, <br />'/ ~ r <br />Kevin L.
