I realize that any oommeats that I make am late in
being presented to you but u~l recootly I did not ]mow that the eavironmemal impact statement
had bean issued and the proj act initiated. These figures taultiplied by the 1032 acres within the era to be solution mined show an
in-pLce resource of about 97 million barrels of shale oil in the Mahogany Zone and 1.348 billion
bagels of shale oil in the saline zone. 'These figures e#rapolated to the entre 4084 acre lease
erne are 384 million barrels and 6.126 billion barrels of shale oil respectively. Thee 5gures do
sot even include the h~mdreds of millions of barrels of shale oil contained in the lower half of the
R-2 zone and the entire R-1 zone.
