(Ten-Day Processing - 111's) applications. In the interest of efficient processing,
phase check the appropriate box to indicate wfrich type of application you are applying
fur. 111 pennits may oe issued only under special circumstances. Be sure you are
eligiole.

roads, stockpile areas and any other surface facilities) over the life of the
mine, and must extract LESS THAfV 70,000 tons of mineral, overburden or
C comoination thereof per calendar year. If the affected area is some fraction
yreater than nine acres, De sure NUT to round this fiyure up to ten acres in
+~{ the narratives or elsewhere.
SPECIAL (ten-day processing) operations are any sand, gravel, or quarry
agyregates operations which are to be operated for the sole purpose of
ootaininy materials for highway, road, utility, or similar-type construction
under a Federal, State, county, city, town, or special district contract where
the contract calls for work to oe coininenced within a specifically short time
and which will affect ten acres or less (including all roads, stockpile areas,
and any other surface facilities).
