Dr. Division Director <br />Colorado Springs, CO 80904 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Receipt of 110(2) Hard Rock/Metal Mining Reclamation Permit Application, Glacier Peak <br />Mining, File No. M-2003-030 <br />Deaz Mr. Dorris: <br />On May 5, 2003, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 110(2) Hazd Rock/Meta1 Mining <br />Reclamation Permit application for the Glacier Peak Mining, which is located in Teller County. All <br />comment and review periods began on May 5, 2003. The decision date for your application is scheduled for <br />June 4, 2003. <br />Newspaper publication of a notice regarding the filing of your application and transmittal of a copy of the <br />notice to all owners of record of surface rights, holders of any recorded easements, and all owners of record <br />of lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land is required within 10 days after <br />submittal. You must submit proof of the notice and mailings, such as Certified Mail - Return Receipt <br />Requested, to the Division of Minerals and Geology prior to the decision date. Additionally, any changes or <br />additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the public review copy which has <br />been placed with the Teller County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of <br />the Act.
