COIARADO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, Water Quality Control Division
• Rationale - Page 3. Permit No. CO-0042161.
IV. FACILITY DESCRIPTION
cycle does not allow for the prescribed collection of samples, an
alternative methodology for obtaining chronic WET test samples has
been proposed by the permit tee. This method involves collecting two
composite samples from two adjacent discharge events. For ezample, if
the first composite sample were collected on Thursday, the second
composite sample would be collected on the following Tuesday. Both
samples would be sent via overnight delivery to the testing lab, and
the chronic teat would be initiated after receipt of the first sample.
The Division has determined that this approach will adequately fulfill
the testing requirements for chronic WET testing, due to the ezpected
consistency of the effluent.
Pages 1, lg, lj and lk of the permit have been amended. No other
permit requirements have been affected.
Rathryn Dolan
January 17, 1990
•
•
