Evaluation of the geology, <br />hydrology and geochemistry support the following conclusions: <br />' • Pre- and post-mining hydrologic flows from the bedrock aquifer are similar in that <br />the principal location of discharge from the bedrock aquifer is the shallow zone <br />with some contribution from deeper, confined portions of the bedrock aquifer. <br />Additionally, the same magnitude of hydrologic flow exists now as did prior to <br />mining. <br />' • Pre- and post-mining hydrologic flows differ in that prior to mining, ground water <br />discharged by leakage through the confining fault gouge clay layer, under <br />conditions of direct contact between the bedrock and Rito Seco alluvium (on the <br />r: y...qPO~.nz,z-,.~~,.,.~.,rcwm;rlU~„ru;.w_zx.-,.a,n'n.P,n;.,. ~~~P.,m+'r.~: <br />1 <br />
