Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Ott March 5, 2007, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved your 112c mining per[[[il application. <br />Please note that your operation is permitted as a "phased operation" with two (2) phases of [Wining & reclamation. The details of each <br />phase of operation aze listed as follows: <br />Phase 1- $664,075 bond requirementjor 66.3 affected acres with 77161fslurry wa/1 @ 23' depth <br />Phase 2 - $332,210 bond requirementjor 31.7 affected acres with 4643 ljslurry wall @ 27.5' depth <br />As specified above, the amount of financial warranty set by the Division for this operation is $664,075.00 for Phase 1 and $332,210 for <br />Phase 2 of the operation. These bond requirements are based on a 20% cost for slurry wall installation We understand you will be <br />submitting a technical revision prior to exposure of groundwater at the Bokeiman-Wallets Pit to fully address the requirements of the <br />20% bonding option. (Attached are reclamation cost estimates). <br />You must submit a fitancial warranty in the amount of $664,075 and a performance warranty in order for us to issue a permit. In the <br />event you have requested a financial warranty form, we have enclosed it in this letter. If you have not, please select a type of financial <br />warranty from Rule 4.3. Then contact us so that we can provide you with the appropriate warranty form We have enclosed a <br />performance waranty form with this letter for your use. <br />PLEASE NOTE THAT MINING OPERATIONS MAY NOT COMMENCE UNTII. A PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED BY <br />THE DIVISION AFFTIr'$ RECEIPT OF YOUR FINANCIAL WARRANTY AND PERFORMANCE WARRANTY.
