Data collected by the following individuals and organizations were obtained through the use of
standard accepted scientific methodologies within the field of investigation. Data were collected
from September 1994 through May 1995 for the Apache Rocks Permit Revision. Data were
obtained through field collection methods and literature searches.
In the case of vegetation, soil, and surface hydrologic feature mapping, aerial photographs were
evaluated for the desired features, communities or associations. Field verification was undertaken
through pedestrian surveys and first hand observation. Where technical reports were generated, the
agency is specifically directed to the report for a thorough discussion of methodologies.
