(7) Whether holes will be developed as water wells and, if so, the well permit <br />issued by the Colorado Division of Water Resources. <br />The holes will not be developed as water wells <br />6. Attach a statement with appropriate references from the relevant State or Federal agencies <br />or published sources, which deteanines [hat the exploration and reclamation described will <br />not jeopardize the continued existence of an endangered or threatened species listed pursuant <br />to Section 4 of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. 1533) or the Nongame, <br />Endangered or Threatened Species Conservation Act (Section 33-8-] Ol et seg. C.R.S. 1973) <br />or result in the destruction or adverse modification of critical habitat of those species (Rule <br />2.02.2(2)(h)). <br />This NOI for installation of alluvial wells is within or neaz the boundaries of an existine <br />Federal Coal Exploration Licence COC 59432 (NOI #96-219-011. A review of threatened <br />and endangered species for the azea was incorporated into that permit along with stipulations <br />for drilling in sage and sharp-tailed grouse critical habitat. This NOI references that study <br />and stipulations within exploration permit COC 59432. The proposed alluvial drilling <br />proeram is scheduled to be conducted between the eazly Mazch. 1998 and the end of July. <br />1998. The locations have been placed at sites where construction has previously occurred <br />or neaz existing county roads. The drilling_program will not cause damage to the soils and <br />veeetation. Noise or traffic at the drill sites will be minimal and restricted to daylight hours. <br />and will require approximately 5 hours per bonne. <br />7. Does the applicant wish any parts of this Notice to be considered CONFIDENTIAL? <br />If yes, the material should be attached as a sepazate document and cleazly mazked <br />"Confidential." Justification for requesting the confidentiality must be included with the <br />request. Note: Rule 2.02.7(2)(6) only allows confidential material that concerns trade secrets <br />or is privileged commercial or financial information which relates to the competitive rights <br />of the person intending to conduct coal exploration. <br />8. Has this complete Notice been put on file at the County Courthouse in the vicinity of the <br />exploration azea, as required by Rule 2.02.7? Yes <br />9. Have reclamation costs been included with this Notice to assist in determining the amount <br />of Performance Bond required, if any? No. Due to the low overall impact and minimal site <br />disturbance. no site reclamation is expected to be required. <br />10. How will the reclaimed drill how locations be mazked?
