Discharge Points:
This permit addresses storm-related surface runoff from several specific mine features associated with the
Cresson Project which are of particular concern to the Division and which the Division has determined require
coverage under art individual CDPS permit with site specijc comroLs which are mare ex[ensive than standard
best mamgement practices normally applied to storm-related runoff discharges. The jea[ures and corresponding
discharge points are listed below:
Point 002A Overflow releases from a senling pond which catches storm-related surface runoff from the ore
crusher area located uphill from the Valley Leach Facility. The discharge would emer a very
large diversion canal which intercepts unaffected runoff flowing from areas uphill from the
Valley Leach Facility. Any flow in the diversion canaf would eventually enter Arequa Gulch,
downstream from the Valley Leach Facility. The holding capacity of the pond is approximately
74.000 cu. h.. which is over three times the volume of runoff resulting from a 10-yr/24-hr
precipitation event of approximatety 21.000 cu. fr.
