... <br />.~~ • <br />NOW THEREFORE, Pursuant to tae aut:~ority set forth in the Coio-«co <br />Open Mining Land Reclamation act, the Lana Rec~amation Board of t`.e State of <br />Colorado has determined that the following land stabilization and reclar,.ation <br />procedures will be followed in the mining operation. of Corn in Section. u, <br />Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Mesa County, Colorado, and Corn hereby aore~s <br />to faithfully perform the land stabilization and reclaniation work required <br />herein. <br />1. Corn will monitor and control fugitive dust to keep same in <br />compliance with the dust emission standards set by the Colorado air Pollutio;: <br />Control Commission. <br />2. Blasting will be conducted during daylight hours only, and in <br />a manner to alleviate or curtail shock and concussion nuisance by controlling <br />the size of the blast. <br />3. Daily operations will not begin before 6:00 a. m. nor e:cterd <br />past 10:00 p. m. <br />4. Plan and agreement will be updated annually so that new <br />techniques can be utilized as they are produced or found. <br />5. Corn will furnish the Land Reclamation Board a performance <br />bond in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($15,750.00) <br />to insure that the work required herein will be accomplished. <br />6. Wherever possible Corn will stockpile and retain topsoil oa <br />the property covered by this permit for future use on said property. <br />7. Unless development plans are scheduled for a particular area <br />within a period of three (3) years after cessation of mining ooerations, <br />Corn will grade and stabilize any surface area disturbed by this operation <br />and revegetate the area, following the best information available from <br />qualified organizations or persons. <br />8. Corn will maintain and stabilize finished slopes to a ratio no <br />steeper than two (2) horizontal to one (1) vertical. (The above can revert <br />to a less steeper slope to conforn to local zoning regulations). <br />
