All disturbed areas have been recontoured to blend with <br />the natural topography. <br />2. All soil erosion associated <br />stabilized. <br />with the operation has been <br />3. An acceptable vegetative cover has been established. <br />An acceptable vegetative cover will consist of a percent <br />vegetative cover at least equal to that of the <br />predisturbance condition (12°s), a composition of plant <br />species at least as desirable as the composition of the <br />predisturbance condition, and a stable ofincreasing range <br />trend. <br />The following procedures are recommended in an attempt to achieve <br />satisfactory reclamation in as short a time as possible. <br />(1) Recontour disturbed area to blend with surrounding <br />topography. <br />(2) Spread any stockpiled soil evenly over the recontoured <br />area. <br />(3) Contour cultivate for seed bed preparation. <br />(4) Broadcast seed using the following seed mixture: <br />~ecies ac <br />Fourwing saltbush 2 <br />Western wheatgrass 4 <br />Indian ricegrass 3 <br />Small burnet 2 <br />TOTAL 11 <br />Cover seed 1/4" to 1/2" deep using a harrow, drag bar or <br />chain. Seeding should be done between September 1 and <br />December 1 to take advantage of late summer and fall <br />precipitation. <br />(5) Distribute any stockpiled trees and shrubs evenly over <br />the disturbed area. <br />
