Adequacy Items
The following items must be addressed by the applicant in order to satisfy the
applicat~le requirements of C.R.S. 34-32-101 et seq. and the Mineral Rules and
Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Board-
Exhibit D - Mining Plan
1. 61e assume that the slopes as shown on mining and reclamation plan maps
will be smooth slopes, not benches. Is this correct?
2. What material will be used to establish (backfill) highwalls?
3. 41e assume that the access road is included as part of the permit area.
Please provide plans for reclaiming it.
Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
1. four reclamation plans for this site are excellent, however, I would
suggest that you broadcast or drill your seed before applying mulch
since this will get you better seed to soil con ac If seed is
t~roadcast, the area should be harrowed following seeding to bury the
steed. Please respond.
2. 61111 the area be fenced to prevent grazing while plants establish? We
recommend immediate fencing to protect the topsoil stockpiles and
t~ecause of the already existing 20-25 feet highwalls. Please respond.
