No permit limitation exceedences occurred during the period.
Quarterly Whole E(tluent Toxicity (WET) tests were conducted for Outfall 001 the week of August 6, 2001. This site passed for
both species, with "Concentrations with Statistically Significant Difference in Lethality' reported al 100% for P. Promelas and
>100% for C. Dubia. Note that Ouffall 001 was inadvertently analyzed for the more stringent chronic WET testing for two
species this quarter, as opposed to newly required acute WET testing for one species. Future quarterly samples will be
analyzed for acute WET testing, as outlined in the revised CDPS that went into effect in August 2001. Per our conversation of
today, TCC is thinking this error will not be considered a defciency. Copies of the CDPS WET Test Report Forms for both
species are included with this submittal.
Please contact me directly al (970) 870-2750 for any further questions or additional information.
Twentymile Coal Company
4-~: ~v~
CSI IJII WaIIcIJJII
Environmental G~~I„~ISt

aG: UMCi
CWPj P.:nnil N~ CO-0U3GGti4 lilt
