"there was no
evidence of sloughing or tension cracking on the slopes and the stream has remained
nearly in the same path as it was after construction. Rip-rap material, in general,
appeared competent; however, some weathering was apparent in isolated areas. At the
time of the resurvey, a good vegetative cover was starting.
The enclosed Figure No. 1, Revision No. 1, shows the channel as it is now in
comparison with the originally surveyed channel. The only noticable change is in the
channel bottom profile. As can be expected, the bottom has assumed a near constant
slope throughout the diversion area and the mounds created by construction have been
eliminated.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please call.
Sincerely,
Steve Pgagnuson, P.E.
Mining Engineer
SDM/tl
cc: Jeff Fleshman
