The
expected physical appearance of this mining
area will be exactly the same after reclamation
as before. I am not an engineer nor does
Kit Carson County have a county surveyor so I
use U.S.G.S. 7'~" Quad maps to locate contour
lines. Niy Quad Map shows the 4650' contour line
running parallel to and very slightly higher than
the creek bottom. There are no contour lines
showing a change inselevation of this creek
bottom. I doubt if tr~ere is more than one foot
difference in elevation between the downstream
end and the upstre®m end of the permit area.
(b) I have made a reclamation plan map (4 copies)
which I believe will comply with Rule 2.12 (6) (a).
I have included a 4647' contour line running
paralrel to the 4650' line
Other than the creek bcttom itself, which will be
reclaimed by flooding, the only reclamation will be
the stockpile area noted on the map. This small
area will be reclaimed following the plan sub-
mitted by the Soil Cons. Service, which is included
with the application.
