• Leeal Description ~ The White Cloud and Wynona mines are situated in the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 12, Tbwnehip 1 North, Range 72 West (see Maps A}. The White Cloud and Wynona mines claim group includes the following ~ patented Lade nriniug claims: WTiite Cloud Lode claim no. 107, Wynona Lode claim no. 112, Columbus Lode claim no. 160, Cy Eaton Lode claim no. 15825, Eugene Lode claim no. 101, F~tzaimmona Lode claim no. 16075, Franklin Lode claim no. 15825, Good Enough Lode claim no. 15838, Hazel A. Lode claim no. 15825, Hercules Lode claim no. 5604, John G. Lode claim no. 15825, Keyetene State Lode claim no. 161 (ii2 undivided interest), Oscar Lode claim no. 17992, • TSme Lode claim no. 6034, sad the T~umbo Lode claim no. 539. The millsite and tailings impoundment area is located on portions of the Eugene Lode claim no. 101, Gaid Enough Lcxle claim no. 15838, Herrulea Lode • claim no. 5604, Oscar Lode claim no. 17 992, Wynona Lode claim uo. 112, and the JoAnne unpatented Lode claim. The White Cloud and Wynona n;irea are two of the oldest productive minas in the Gold Hill mining district. Following their discovery in the 1870'x, both of these mines were worked intermittently through the turn of the century. the • White Cloud mine was last worked between 1902 and 1905, while the last period of mining activity at. the Wynona mine was during the years 1938 through 1936.
