• • ~. <br /> <br />TECHNICAL REVISION 31 <br />On March 1, 1995, the Colorado Division of Minerals end <br />Geology <the Division) approved minor revision 27, rhich <br />alloyed Coors Energy Cowpony (CEC) to dispose of test burn <br />ash at the Keenesburg Strip Mine (C-81-028). Since that <br />ties, CEC hoe evaluated the econowic and logistic <br />feasibility of eritching it's coal supply frow Colovyo Coal <br />Cowpony to Addington Resources (Boric ~2> and hoe deterwined <br />that changing to the Boris ~2 coal is in CEC best interest. <br />Accordingly, CEC riehee to dispose of this ash in the <br />approved wanner et the Keenesburg Mine, in both •A• and •B' <br />Pita (Cells) which are presently used for ash disposal. A <br />grab ash eawple roe taken frow the Coors' Porer Plant, frow <br />• both the fly ash and bottow ash bins. The sawplee rere <br />analyzed by using the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching <br />Procedure. The ash vas also analyzed for radioactivity by <br />request from the Colorado Departwent of Health (CDH). Copies <br />of the analyses are included in the folloring pages. <br />CEC is subwitting this Technical Revision to cowply with the <br />!fining Perwit - Stipulation No. 24 and No. 2 of the <br />Developwent Standards, Awended USR-386:86:58 <br />• <br />TR-31 7i5a <br />
