"`,Sethods for Chemical Analysis of Water and Wastes," 1971, <br />Eavironbental Protecticn Agency. <br />Eapansioa Requirer:eats <br />Pursuant to Colorado Law, C.R.S. 1973 25-8-501(6), the permittee is <br />required to initiate engineering and financial planning for e:cpansioa <br />o_° the treatment wor'~cs whenever throughput and treatment reaches <br />• eighty-•(80) percent of design capacity. Whenever ninety-five (95) <br />percent of either the hydraulic or organic capacity of the treatment <br />works is met, the•peratttee shall camneaee construction of the <br />necessary treatment e:cpmmsion. <br />In Lhe case of a municipality, construction may be cotm~eaced, or <br />building permit issuance may be terminated, until such ecnstruction <br />is initiated, except that building permits may continue to be issued <br />for nay ccnstruction which would not have the effect of increasing <br />the input of sewage to the municipal treatment works. <br />Within three (3) scnths after the date of permit issuance, a flow- <br />measuring device shall be installed to give representative values <br />of effluent valuee at same point in the plant circuit, if not alreaay <br />a part of the wastewater plant. <br /> <br />
