During this period, only ponds A (Ouffall 001), B (Ouffall 003), D (Outtall 005), and E (Outtall 006) discharged to
Foidel Creek. Note that Outtall 005 only flowed during the first week of the period, therefore only sample set was available for
analysis. No permit excursions were noted for this period.
Quarterly Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) tests were conducted for Ouffails 001 and 005 in October 2002. These tests
indicated that the effluent were not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna survival at either Outtall. Note that the preprinted DMRs
indicate acomposite-3 sample type, however the acute WET test only requires a single grab sample. A written request to
correct this was made to Mr. Chris Gates.
Outtalls 002, 004, 007, 008, and 009 did not discharge; and therefore had no chemical tests during this period. Outfall 020
has not been constructed yet; therefore there is no discharge to enable chemical testing to date. Points 010, 016 and 017
have been eliminated from this permit. In order to reduce the amount of paper work, the following certification will be
substituted for the actual DMR forms to cover the ouffalls, which did not discharge.
CERTIFICATION
1 certify under penalty of law that 1 have personally examined and am familiar with the information submitted herein; and
based on my inquiry o1 those individuals responsible for obtaining the information, 16elieve the submitted information is
true, accurate, and complete.
