Bania <br />pnygn Pre_tor <br />Asa result of the closure of the Texas American Bank of Fort Worth, Texas, as <br />evidenced to the Division in a letter from the Federal Deposit Insurance <br />Corporation dated April 16, 1990 (copy attached) and pursuant to the <br />reouirements of Rule 3.02.4(2)(d)(vi)(C) of the Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, the Division is issuing to <br />Pueblo Coal, Inc. Notice of Violation C-90-012 for failure to provide <br />performance bond coverage for the Carbon Junction Mine. <br />Please note that the specified abatement is to secure replacement reclamation <br />bond coverage in the amount of 5931,150.00 in a form acceptable to the <br />Division on or before June 1, 1990. <br />The Division reouests that Pueblo Coal, Inc. furnish information identifying <br />any and all collateral supplied by Pueblo Coal, Inc. or its parent <br />or_aanization to secure Letter of Credit No. 17345 from the Texas American Bank <br />of r'ort Worth, Texas. <br />The Division would also like to notify you that, as a result of the present <br />circumstances, the status of bonding for the Carbon Junction Mine will be <br />scheduled as a discussion item during the May 23-24, 1990 meeting of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. <br />Should you have any question in regard to the above, olease contact me. <br />Since rely, <br />•~Q,rv, , G~uL,.+~ <br />James C.
