According to the report from the Soil Conservation <br /> Service, vegetation in this area consists of predominantly <br /> buffalo grass with sand dropseed, blue grams grass, three <br />' awn, bottle brush squirrel tail, sand sage, barrel Oates, <br /> prairie clover, yucca, sunflower, brome snakeweed, cactus <br /> barrell & flat, and other annuals also present. The <br /> vegetation density is 450. The range condition class is <br /> poor. <br /> 2. There are no permanent man-made structure within <br />' 200 feet of the site. <br /> 3. Bear Creek lies over 300 feet from the 9.12 acre <br /> mining site. This creek is usually dry although heavy rains <br />' may cause it to run briefly. Most water, however, is <br /> usually absorbed.
