• NOXIOUS WEED MANAGEMENT PLAN
INTRODUCTION:
This Noxious Weed Management Plan is being submitted in accordance with Section
4.15.1(5) of the Division of Minerals and Geology Regulations pertaining to coal mining.
Section 4.14.1(5) requires each operator to submit a noxious weed management plan that
will become a part of the permit requirements.
The Noxious Weed Management Plan for the Eastside Mine will be divided into two
major azeas;
1. Inventory and map any noxious weeds which aze present on the disturbed
_areas of the Eastside Mine.
2. A detailed management plan will be prepared for the Division's approval once
the area has been surveyed and the noxious weeds aze inventoried and
mapped.
INVENTORY OF NOXIOUS WEEDS:
A survey of the disturbed azea will be conducted during the 2006 growing season to
inventory noxious weeds that are present on the disturbed and reclaimed surface facilities
azea of the Eastside Mine. The noxious weeds to be surveyed for aze listed in Table 19,
