POBLIC NOTICE
Panhandle Drilling Company, 1441 - 18th Street, Su to 100,
Denver, Colorado 80202, has filed an apglicati n for a
Mining and Reclamation Permit with The Colorado Mi ed Land
Reclamation Board under provisions of The Colora o Mined
Land Reclamation Act. The proposed mine is located at:
SW1/4 NW1/4, W1/2 NW1/4 NE1/4, SE1/4 NE1/4
NW1/4, SW1/4 SE1/4 NE1/4, N1/2 SE1/4, SE1/4
SE1/4, all in Section 12, Township 9 South,'
Range 78 West, except those lands West of~
Colorado Highway No. 9; and
W1/2 SW1/4, Section 7, Township 9 South, Range
77 West, except those lands East of the
Colorado Springs Water Pipe.
The proposed date of commencement is May 1985, nd the
proposed date of completion is November 1995. The roposed
future use of the land will be historic post-mi ing and
