- ~ - ~ III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ~ REC~IVEp <br />MINED LAND WILDLIFE STATEMENT/EVALUATION (Revised) qpR 1 4 1987 <br />' for limited impact and select regular mine applicationsE MMI,Nq~EDnLAND •~ <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by-ft~ned'Lan2SN DIVISION <br />Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />laa #7 P1 ac Prl]aim/Gold/SE 40 acres N4J1/4 Section 20 T'15 R724J Gilpjn om v Russell Gulch <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Wildlife Spec::es list: <br />See enclosed ~;pecies list. <br />Note: Recognizing the significant amounts of environmental damage that has already <br />occureci, the wildlife species list cites those species which may have occupied <br />those areas in the past and no longer occur there. <br />Endangered/cri_tical species/impacted: <br />None irapacte~.;. <br />Those threa~~red or endangered species indicated occur only in overall distribution <br />and should not be considered to frequent the area. <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />No critical habitats impacted. Area of impact is at approximately 8,200 feet elevation, <br />demonstrating predominantly northeast facing aspect. Vegetative community impacted <br />will be so,~~e lodgepole, Douglas Fir with interspersed mountain mahogany on south <br />facing slopes. <br />Assessment of impact: <br />Little i;aaact should be felt on the area given the limited scope of surface disturbance. <br />Area already heavily disturbed with limited wildlife use at this time. <br />Nine Reclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />iii"~hCu y'n nWile i'u U[i Si~iali ul aiiiiiialS dnu Ulru' SpeCIeS 111 i1abii the oleo, Lile UPlly large gaii12 <br />species utilizing the area are mule deer. No fisheries potential exists in Russell <br />Gulch itself.
