Because DuPontTM
LANDMARKTM MP dcgadation is sowed by cold or frozen soils, applications
made in dre fall shoultl consider the intervals as beginning in the spring following
treabnent
Testing has hrdicated that there is consideable variarion in rcsponseemong species
and types of grasses when seeded inro areas treated with LANDMARKTM MP.
If species other than those listed above are to be planted into areas treated with
LANDMARKTM MP a field bioassay should be performed, or previous experience
may be used to determine the feasibility bf replanting treated areasr
To conduct a field bioassay, grow m maturiry test strips of the crop(s) you plan
to grow tht following year. The ast strips should cross the entire field including
knolls end low arws. To unprove posumw-
grncecontrol ofweeds, add surfactant at 025%by volume or at the manufaeturcr's
recommended afe based on spray area.
LANDMAIiKTM MP may be applied with the recommended ales of other herbi-
mdp registered for this use. For application method and other use specifications,
se the most restrictive dvections for tfie intended combinadon.
o sot tank mix LANDMARKTM MP with DuPontTM HYVARa X-L herbicide.
PRAY EQUIPMENT .
Following a LANDMARKTM MP application, do no[ use this spray equipment.
for applicarion m agricultural or ornamental crops. Select a spay volume and
delivery system that will rnsme thorough coverage and a unifomm spiny pattern.
Be sure the sprayer is calibrated before use. Avoid overlapping and shut off
spiny booms while starting, mining, slowing, or sloping m avoid injury to desired
species.
MLYING WSTRUCTIONS
1. Fill spay rank ~/z full of water.
2. With tlme agitamr running, add the proper amount of LANDMARKTM MP.
3. ]f using a companion product, add the recommended amount.
4. For postemergent applications, add the proper amount of spiny adjuvants.
S. Add the remaining water.
6. Agitate the spray tank thoroughly.
LANDMARKTM MP spay prcpaations are stable if they are pH neutral or alkaline
and stored at or below 100'F.
SPRAYER CLEANUP
7horoughty clean ail mixing and spay equipment folbwing applications of
LANDMARKTM MP as follows:
I. Dain tank; thoroughly rinse spay tanks, boom, and hoses with clean water.
2. Fill the tank with clean water and I gal of household ammonia (contains 3%
active) for every 100 gal of water. Exposure m LANDMARKTM MP may injure or kill
most crops. Injury may be more seven when the crops am irrigated. Do not
apply LANDMARKTM MP when dmese conditions are identified and powdery,
dry sotl or light or sandy soil are known to be prevalent in the aces to be trcaad.
• Applications made where mm~off water flows onto agricultural land may injure
crops. Applications made during periods of intense ainfall, to soils samatcd
with water, surfaces paved with materials such as asphalt or concrete, or
soils tluough which rainfall will not readily penetram may rauD in mnoff and
movement of I.eWDMARKTM MP. Do not treat frozen soil. Treated soil should
be left undisturbed m reduce the potrntiai for LANDMARKTM MP movement
by soil erosion due to wind or water.
Do notuse on lawns, walks, dmeways, mnnis courts, or similar arms.
Keep from contain with fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and seeds.
Do not apply in or on irigadon ditches or canals including their oumr banks.
Do not apply through any type of irrigation system.
Do not use the equipment used to mint or apply LANDMARKTM MP on crops
unless specifically directed by supplemental labeling. When applied on fertilizer,
da not use thG impregnation, transponorapplicatien equipmen[m make subsequent
applications m crops. The mixing and application equipment may be used for
forestry and non-crop applications only.
if non-crop sins treated widrLANDMARKTM MP arc W be converted ro a
food, feed; or fiber agriculmml crop, or m a horticulmal crop, do not plant the
treated sites for at least one year after the LANDMARKTM MP application. A
field bioassay must then be completed before plandng to crops. To conduct a
field bioassay, grow m maturity test strips of the crop(s) you plan to grow the
following yeaz. The test strips should cross the entire field including knolls and
low areas. Crop response to the bioassay will indicate whether or not m plant the
I riehts reserved.
