<br />GENERAL INFORMATION
<br />ARSENAL is an aqueous solution containing surfactant m be mixed in wakr and
<br />applied as a spray for control of most annual and perewial grasses and broadleaf
<br />weeds on noncropland areas.
<br />ARSENAL may be applied tither preemergmce ar poskmttgence to the weeds;
<br />howevtt, postemttgence application is the method of choice in most situations,.
<br />particularly for control of perennials. For roaximtw activity, weeds should be
<br />growing vigorously at the time of poskmcrgence application. The preemergence
<br />activity of ARSENAL will provide residual rnnaol of new gtrtninanon of most
<br />weed species following a pos[emergence application.
<br />ARSENAL is readily absorbed through leaves, skins, and roots and is translo-
<br />cakd rapidly throughout the plant, with accumulation in the meriskmatic regions.
<br />Treakd plants smp growing soon after spray application. Chlorosis appears first
<br />in the newest leaves, and necrosis spreads from this point. In perennials, [he
<br />herbicide is translocakd into, and kills, underground smrnge organs, thus prevent-
<br />ing regrowth. Chlorosis and tissue necrosis may not be apparent in some plant
