Enclosed are the Edna Mine's (Permit #CO-0032638) September CPDS reporting results
and the third quarter 1999 Acute Whole Effluent Toxicity test results. During the month of
September 1999, DMP 00] and DMP 004 did not discharge. All effluent discharges from DMP
007 were in compliance with the permit criteria.
The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co. has contracted with Western Water
Consultants, Inc. to provide engineering and monitoring services at the Edna Mine. Please
